Chaos Magic is not in itself a system or a philosophy – it is rather an attitude, a meta-system, an approach to magic.

Chaos Magic is about understanding the mechanism of magic.

Chaos Magic realizes that the actual methods of magic are basically shared by different systems.

Therefore Chaos Magic leaves the practitioners free to establish their own ideas of method, ethics, and appropriate uses of magic, it transcends tradition and dogma, any and all methods are allowed and encouraged, the only requirement is that it works.

In this seminar, we are going to explore in theory but even more so by
practice some of the basic principles of the chaosmagical approach:

Biography

Hagen von Tulien is a contemporary artist and occultist.
With more than forty years of intense magical theory and practice, he has specialized in creating art as an expression and manifestation of magical states of awareness and its use as an esoteric tool.
He is working in a variety of media including pen and ink, paper cut, collage and digital formats.
Hagen was forever following his spiritual and occult vocation.
This resulted in his interest and engagement in various esoteric and hermetic traditions.
He delved into realms of knowledge and culture, including systems of yoga, most Western magical traditions and orders/fellowships such as AMORC, the OTO, ‘The Temple ov Psychick Youth’ and several various others.
Throughout the 1990s Hagen was a key figure in the Magical Pact of the Illuminates of Thanateros (I.O.T.), serving as its section head for Germany.
He is currently a Master-Initiate of the Fraternitas Saturni (F.S.) and an empowered adept of the Voudon Gnostic Current (member of O.T.O.A./L.C.N.), focused on deeply researching the Gnosis of the Saturnian Continuum and of Esoteric Voudon.
As a Gnostic Bishop of the Ecclesia Gnostica Spiritualis (ordained by Michael Bertiaux), Hagen von Tulien is dedicated to manifesting the supreme and divine Gnosis within himself while assisting others on their own path to cosmic freedom and liberation.
Art and Magic are the two founding pillars upon which his life and experiences are built.

La Chaos Magic non è di per sé un sistema o una filosofia, è piuttosto un atteggiamento, un meta-sistema, un approccio alla magia. Essa riguarda principalmente la comprensione del meccanismo della magia, partendo dal presupposto che i metodi effettivi della magia sono fondamentalmente condivisi da sistemi diversi. Pertanto la Chaos Magic lascia i praticanti liberi di stabilire le proprie idee di metodo, etica e usi appropriati della magia, trascende tradizione e dogma, tutti i metodi sono consentiti e incoraggiati, l’unico requisito è che funzioni.

Il Seminarista

Hagen von Tulien è un artista e occultista contemporaneo.
Con oltre quarant’anni di intensa pratica magica, si è specializzato nella creazione di arte come espressione e manifestazione di stati magici di consapevolezza e nel suo uso come strumento esoterico. Ha approfondito i regni della conoscenza e della cultura magica, inclusi i sistemi di yoga, la maggior parte delle tradizioni magiche occidentali e gli ordini / associazioni come AMORC, l’OTO, “The Temple ov Psychick Youth” e molti altri.
Per tutti gli anni ’90 Hagen è stato una figura chiave nel Magical Pact of the Illuminates of Thanateros (IOT), servendo come capo sezione per la Germania.
Attualmente è un Maestro-Iniziato della Fraternitas Saturni (FS) e un adepto autorizzato della Voudon Gnostic Current (membro di O.T.O.A./L.C.N.).
Come Vescovo Gnostico dell’Ecclesia Gnostica Spiritualis (ordinato da Michael Bertiaux), Hagen von Tulien si dedica a manifestare la Gnosi suprema e divina dentro di sé mentre assiste gli altri nel loro cammino verso la libertà cosmica e la liberazione. Arte e Magia sono i due pilastri fondanti su cui si basano la sua vita e le sue esperienze.
